God's Grace...

I know it's been a long time since I've posted anything... it's just that there's nothing new to post! (At least nothing new in terms of updates on the investigation.) In a way, it's disappointing and sad... but that has nothing to do with the investigators. They are amazing and are doing the best they can with the leads that come their way. God bless them!

This August it will be 5 years since Jason & Lindsay died and I am truly amazed (and grateful) at how many people are still interested in their story! I added a webpage counter and a visitor map to this site back in August (2008) and I am astounded at the traffic this page receives! I do hear from a lot of people (via e-mail) that they heard about this story through the E! channel's documentary that re-airs from time to time. I am pleased to hear that since that documentary did a very good job of accurately representing Jason & Lindsay's true character. There has been other media coverage in the past few years (both in print and in video) that has not been so accurate and that really bothers me. I don't like to see Jason & Lindsay inaccurately portrayed since they are no longer here to defend themselves. (If you read through the archives on this site, you'll see commentary regarding all of that.)

With that said, I am so encouraged at how God has used this story to touch people's lives! I know that I've said this countless times before... but it continues to amaze me. It's truly a testament to God's grace that something as horrible as a double murder of two completely innocent people can be used to do good in the lives of others. Jason & Lindsay lived a life dedicated to serving the Lord and through their deaths, their lives became an example of remarkable faith! Their families also display this same powerful faith in a way that defies explanation, apart from God's presence in their lives! So, although I wish so much that Jason & Lindsay had not been killed, I am grateful that God has brought a large measure of comfort through the way people keep learning about Christ because of their story. God works miracles even through tragedies like this one! What didn't make sense to me, now does, in a way. But I still continue to pray for justice. There is a cold-blooded killer out there who is a danger to society and needs to take responsibility for his/her actions!

So, I just wanted to thank all of you who have shown an interest in Jason & Lindsay's story. I hope that, someday, perhaps even with the help of any of you, we may find justice for them. Someone out there knows something! Someone out there knows who did this and I pray that they find the courage to come forward.
